Thanks for your email.  I am sure we could make you something that will be comfortable, affordable and practical.  As a fully vertical knitting, dyeing, manufacturing and embroidering company, we are not only limited to what you see on our site etc.  If you had a garment or picture that you felt was perfect, we could make the exact thing for you.  You speak about a pale yellow or something similar, that is also no problem, as long as I can dye our minimum dye batch, I can match any colour you like.  As regards the logo, we do embroidery in house so it would be no issue to get a jpeg of your logo and put it subtle on the garment.

Good Afternoon

 

We are investigating the possibility of changing our company casual uniform tops. What I had in mind was something like a ladies golf shirt or a blouse of some sort. Something which would be comfortable, could breath easily in hot weather, not be see-through and not require too much ironing.[Grant Reid]  No problem. 

 

We are an incentive company and travel to various destinations in the world.  Please bear in mind that this casual uniform will be worn when we are tourleading events such as catamaran cruises, shore excursions, Amazing Races, island excursions, etc.  Therefore, it needs to be relaxed, but still look presentable. We would be wearing the top with navy blue bottoms so the colour would have to match (buttermilk or pale yellow colour) or white? It’s not vital to have the logo on it, but please can you advise the cost of this separately?  If we do go with the logo, we would want it to be small and embroidered onto the pocket (if there is one) or somewhere similar.[Grant Reid]  We can put a pocket onto any of our garments if you like.  Secondly embroidery is priced according to the amount of stitches, so an average logo will cost around 7-8 Rand.  There is a once off digitising cost of R150 per logo. 

 

 

The problems which we have with our current shirts are as follows:

 

·                                                    They are green, which really don’t tie in with our corporate colours at all.[Grant Reid]  If you like the style, we could make the same but in a preferable colour. 

·                                                    They are huge and very long.  The style of the golf shirt is like a men’s shirt, with ribbing around the arms.[Grant Reid]  Probably are a mans shirt.  We can make any of our men's garments in a choice of 3 ladies cuts. These are normal sleeve, capped sleeve and sleeveless. 

·                                                    The fabric is thick, which means that in warm, humid climates, you overheat.[Grant Reid]  We knit various fabrics and once we progress we can supply sample garments and cloth swatches if need be. 

·                                                    They are totally unflattering to every shape woman who has to wear them.[Grant Reid]  Ooops!  I am a manufacturer not a magician!  Jokes aside, we can do something that is more general that will fit slightly tighter on a shapely women and something less shapely on the fuller framed women. 

 

Please can you advise if you have anything that you feel may be suitable?[Grant Reid]  Sure we can come up with something that can work. 

 

Please can you also advise the following:

·                                                    Can you provide us with relatively small numbers, ie about 100 tops?[Grant Reid]  YES! 

·                                                    Can you ensure that you can make up more of the exact same style and fabric, as and when new staff join us?[Grant Reid]  YES !  Can you do this for an order for 1 or 2 people, or do they wait until we place another bulk order?[Grant Reid]    As we make about 5000 units a day for the likes of Edgar's MR Price etc, we would probably loose a order of 1 or 2 in the factory.  I will and accommodate you with a minimum of 50 or just under on re-order if that helps..  Ie. What is the minimum you can make up for us when we order more?[Grant Reid]  50 

·                                                    Do you have a range of sizes.[Grant Reid]  Can do once we know what you want. 

·                                                    What is your lead time  ie. From the moment we place the order, to when you can deliver.[Grant Reid]  Once we receive an order and 50% deposit we are currently delivering in 4-6 weeks.  Sorry but we are a summer business and supply school uniforms etc so it is now our peak season and to have everything delivered before 15th December is our pressure. We still have quite a bit of capacity, so if you place sooner rather than later, you will be fine.
